And a baby makes three! Country singer Maren Morris revealed that she’s expecting her first child with husband, Ryan Hurd, while taking to Instagram on Tuesday, October 22. The songstress posted a stunning photo which showed off her growing baby bump while sharing her exciting family news with the world.

“The irony is just too rich that after a year of living in the ‘GIRL’ headspace, the universe would give us a baby boy to even things out. See you in 2020, little one,” she wrote, garnering several congratulatory comments from friends and fans.

Ryan, 32, also posted a heartwarming announcement to his page alongside a few photos from their recent shoot together. “MY BOYS CAN SWIM. BABY BOY HURD 2020! Look at her … cannot believe this life with this girl. Also, thank you George Constanza for this caption that I’ve been sitting on my entire life,” he gushed.

This is such an exhilarating time for the couple, who first met back in 2013. As you may recall, Maren, 29, and her hubby previously collaborated on a song called “Last Turn Home” for Tim McGraw in Nashville. Their friendship slowly blossomed into a romance and the dynamic duo started dating in 2015.

The following year, Maren and Ryan went public with their relationship, so of course fans were elated to discover he popped the question in July 2017.

Shortly before her trip down the aisle, the country singer took to Instagram with a sincere message. “Writing vows, feeling sentimental AF and dreaming of this guy being my freaking husband in a few days,” Maren wrote. The couple said their “I dos” in March 2018, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their love story.

“We had been friends for only a couple of years, but there was always this writing chemistry in the room, and eventually, the timing of it was undeniable,” Maren previously gushed about her hubby to PEOPLE.

Ryan also admitted that his bride was a muse for his song “Love in a Bar,” revealing the hit single was inspired by their undeniable bond.

“We wrote ‘Last Turn Home,’ that Tim recorded, and we would write and then after we’d go over to a bar in midtown and have a couple beers,” he said. “That’s when we started making a real connection, beyond a creative partnership.”

It won’t be long until they become first-time parents!
