Congrats!Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Celebrate Their First Wedding Anniversary on Instagram!
Congrats are in order for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary on May 19 and shared their happiness with fans and followers on their official Instagram.
“Happy one-year anniversary to Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” the couple captioned a behind-the-scenes video of their wedding with some rare photos. “Today marks the one-year anniversary of the wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”
The video was chock full of special images from their big day, scored with a very special track. “Their Royal Highnesses exchanged vows at St. George’s Chapel within the grounds of Windsor Castle on May 19th, 2018,” the caption continued. “The selected song ‘This Little Light of Mine‘ was chosen by the couple for their recessional.”
“We hope you enjoy reliving this moment and seeing some behind the scenes photos from this special day,” it concluded, before leaving one last little message from the royals themselves.
“A message from The Duke & Duchess: Thank you for all of the love and support from so many of you around the world,” read the final line of the caption. “Each of you made this day even more meaningful.”
It was so great to relive the royal wedding, even if just for a minute. It feels like it happened a lifetime ago, now that Meg, 37, and Harry, 34, have their first child. Their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, was born on May 6 and the couple announced their new bundle of joy on their Instagram.
Two days later, we received first photos of the baby boy and learned his name! Fans everywhere got Riverdale vibes from the sweet moniker — and considering his dad is a redhead himself, we wouldn’t put it past the couple to pull a fast one on us.
We can’t wait for year two for this royal couple!
