It's finally here! On Saturday, May 19, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry officially tied the knot at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, and royal fans couldn't be more excited. The royal families, members of the public, and fans were in attendance to celebrate the big day, but people on Twitter seemed to mostly care about which celebrities attended the royal wedding.
From George and Amal Clooney to Oprah Winfrey, it's clear that Meghan and Harry's nuptials were a star-studded event. Below, you can see photos of David and Victoria Beckham, James Corden, Priyanka Chopra, and more. And who could blame the A-listers for wanting to be part of this historic event? The ceremony was beautiful, and Meghan Markle looked gorgeous in a wedding gown designed by Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy — even though fans are dragging her for her "messy hair." The bride also wore Cartier gold and diamond earrings, and had Queen Mary's diamond bandeau tiara. Harry and Meghan shared their first official kiss outside of St. George's Church right on the staircase, and it was a picture-perfect moment. After the ceremony, Meghan and Harry headed to a lunch reception, hosted by The Queen, where they took more photos and served their wedding cake.
Unfortunately, one special guest was unable to attend. After Meghan Markle's father, Tom Markle, suffered a heart attack, Meghan confirmed in a statement prior to her wedding day that her father would be missing the event.
"Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding. I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health," she sadly confirmed via Kensington Palace. "I would like to thank everyone who has offered generous messages of support. Please know how much Harry and I look forward to sharing our special day with you on Saturday."
Although Tom wasn't able to walk Meghan down the aisle, it was still an amazing ceremony, and we're jealous we couldn't attend. You can check out photos of all of the celebs who attended Meghan and Harry's wedding below.
