ICYMI: Meghan Markle Was Totally Hiding Her Baby Bump At Princess Eugenie’s Wedding
Someone’s a sneaky royal! On Oct. 15, news broke that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child in spring 2019. While there’s no doubt that diehard royal fans are absolutely ecstatic for the pair, some people are suggesting that Meghan’s outfit, ahem, baby bump, at Princess Eugenie’s wedding was a dead giveaway.
“I KNEW she was pregnant when she wore that massive coat [over] the weekend!” one user commented on Twitter. “I knew Meghan Markle was pregnant when she wore that coat dress to Princess Eugenie’s wedding,” added another. Of course, hindsight is 20/20. However, if you look closely, it’s clear the 37-year-old was trying to hide something under her unusually roomy ensemble.
In addition to Meghan’s outfit, a source revealed to In Touch that the former Suits actress and her royal beau left Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding early! “I didn’t see Meghan touch a drop of alcohol at Eugenie’s wedding. Her [sic] and Harry left early,” they explained. “They didn’t stay for the afterparty, which really surprised me, as Harry likes to stay up and have a good time!”
The source added that Meghan even suffered from morning sickness that day. “She was even feeling sick, morning sickness, the day of Princess Eugenie’s wedding and there was talk that she may not make it to the ceremony. Of course, that never would have happened, unless it was an emergency. She had to attend or the speculation of what was wrong with the Duchess would have been overwhelming and utter chaos.”
Oh, and once again, Meghan’s outfit came back into play! “The fact that Meghan never took her Givenchy coat off during the ceremony has raised eyebrows that she was covering up a baby bump, well, that’s true and it makes complete sense. Contrary to reports that Meghan is trying to steal the royal spotlight, the Duchess would never upstage Eugenie’s wedding with her own baby news.” Shoutout to Meghan (and the quality designers at Givenchy) for keeping things under wraps… literally! Now that Princess Eugenie’s nuptials are behind us, the royal baby countdown can begin.
