Duchess Meghan Shares Sweet Tribute for Prince Harry’s Birthday With a Rare Photo of Archie
Congrats are in order! Prince Harry celebrates his milestone 35th birthday on September 15 — and the official Instagram account he shares with his wife, Duchess Meghan (née Markle), posted the cutest photo collage and special message for the royal from the duchess on his big day.
“Wishing a very happy birthday to His Royal Highness Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex,” they wrote on the adorable set of nine photos of the prince, from childhood with late mother Princess Diana to the birth of his first child, Archie.
Next came the 37-year-old’s well wishes and praise for her husband. “Your service to the causes you care so deeply for inspires me every day,” Meg wrote on the post. “You are the best husband and most amazing dad to our son. We love you ❤️Happiest birthday!”
Needless to say, the redhead has grown into quite the distinguished gentleman — but he managed to hold onto his distinctly playful personality, which has no doubt turned him into the most fun and doting dad.
The happy couple announced their pregnancy with their first child back in October 2018, just five months after the duo got married in May. Throughout her pregnancy, Meg happily flaunted her bump while Harry was an excited dad-to-be at every outing.
Finally, the duchess gave birth to Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on May 6, just two weeks before his parents’ one-year wedding anniversary. How sweet of him, huh? That definitely makes May a special month! After the little guy came into the world, mom and dad were photographed showering him with love in his first official photo shoot.
Then, we got a more intimate look at the heir to the throne (he’s got a long way to go, but still an heir!) for Father’s Day when the couple shared a sweet photo of the baby clutching his daddy’s finger. So sweet! Now, Meg and Harry are currently on a tour in Africa … and the tiny tyke is along for the ride.
The couple has also recently decided to bring Archie to Los Angeles, where his grandmother Doria Ragland lives — and they might even stay a while. An insider told Life & Style exclusively the royal parents are “talking about buying property nearby, in Malibu,” and plan to “view houses during their trip” later this year.
“[Meghan] knows her home is in the U.K. now, but she does miss California,” the source explained. “With its year-round, almost perfect climate and beaches, both she and Harry think Malibu is the ideal location for a base in the States.”
Sounds like 35 is going to be a good year for Harry!
