Mommy Duties! Duchess Meghan Had to Rush Out of a Royal Engagement to ‘Feed’ Baby Archie
Priorities come first! Duchess Meghan (née Markle) may be super busy making an impact on the world, but she always makes time for her son, Archie. Meg is always dedicated to her work, but when visiting the Smart Set capsule collection on Thursday, September 12, she had to cut her time short to go be with her little one. “I’ve got to get back to the baby, it’s feed time,” she told a group of women. We love a hands-on mama!
The former actress gave birth to Archie in May, and since then, she’s all about spending as much time as she can with him. According to a source who spoke to Life & Style in June, the Suits alum is overjoyed with her little family. “Motherhood is the best thing that’s ever happened to Meghan. That, and marrying [Prince] Harry, the insider revealed. “Meghan says there’s nothing that makes her happier than seeing Archie smile. She feels blessed to have such a happy, calm baby.” Aw!
Besides being a devoted mom and wife, Meg is making big moves. It’s been four months since she gave birth to her baby, and while we always think she looks amazing, she’s interested in being a good example for all mothers going through the same thing. “It’s not easy to lose the weight, but she’s happy to be a realistic example for new mothers,” an insider told Us Weekly in July. A second source revealed to the outlet that the mom of one “wants to change the perception that you have to be skinny to be beautiful.”
Meghan is all about making changes. She recently worked with British Vogue as their first guest-editor to shine a light on influential ladies who like her, are making a difference in the world. According to the editor’s letter she wrote, this was “an issue of both substance and levity.” You go, girl!
When it comes her living situation,”[Meghan] knows her home is in the U.K. now, but she does miss California,” another insider exclusively revealed to Life & Style. The royal couple are “talking about buying property nearby, in Malibu,” according to the source. The possibilities are endless for these two!
