She’s living her happily ever after! Meghan Markle is on Cloud 9 following the birth of her first son, Archie. “Motherhood is the best thing that’s ever happened to Meghan. That, and marrying [Prince] Harry,” a royals source told Life & Style exclusively. “Meghan says there’s nothing that makes her happier than seeing Archie smile. She feels blessed to have such a happy, calm baby.”

That said, raising a newborn does come with a certain set of challenges. “Sometimes Meghan will be up for 24 hours straight tending to Archie’s needs,” the insider noted. “If he isn’t fed every two to three hours, everyone knows about it. He’ll scream the house down!”

Thankfully, the Duchess of Sussex, 37, isn’t raising the little guy on her own. Meghan’s doting husband, 34, has been there every step of the way to soothe her nerves. “Harry assures Meghan it’s all part of the process of adjusting to parenthood,” the source said. Beyond Harry’s assurances, Meghan has found other ways to cure her baby blues. “Making sure she has a life outside of ‘mom mode’ helps,” the source expressed.

The newly minted parents “often invite friends over for an early supper,” the insider said, adding that George and Amal Clooney, Serena Williams and Jessica Mulroney are a few of the American’s pals who have visited so far. However, Meghan and Harry’s most frequent guest is none other than Queen Elizabeth.

The 93-year-old monarch, who has a home minutes away at Windsor Castle, adores her eighth great-grandchild and regularly pops in, the source said. “She’s even been coming over on the weekends to babysit!”
