Miley Cyrus Shares Cover Art For ‘Something Beautiful’ Album
The former Disney star shared a photo of the artwork for Something Beautiful during her announcement via Instagram on March 24, 2025. In the announcement photo, Miley donned a lavish showgirl-like ensemble made up of a sparkling webbed top and headpiece adorned with crystals.
“Captured by renowned fashion photographer Glen Luchford, the album artwork features Miley Cyrus draped in archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, a striking nod to the album’s bold aesthetic and visual storytelling,” the announcement concluded.
Miley teased the project in November 2024, four months after the official announcement.
“The visual component of this is driving the sound,” the “Flowers” songstress told Harper’s Bazaar in an interview for her December 2024/January 2025 cover story. “It was important for me that every song has these healing sound properties.”

Fans will be able to enjoy Miley’s ninth studio album on May 30, 2025.
How Many Songs Will Be on the ‘Something Beautiful’ Tracklist?
Thirteen songs will make up the visual album, according to Miley’s official announcement. The Hannah Montana alum and Shawn Everett are executive producers on the album.
‘Something Beautiful’ Is a Visual Album That Will Tell Listeners a Story
During Miley’s interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she explained that she wanted the visuals to compliment the music, which will resemble the “beauty” found in “heartbreak or death.”
“It was important for me that every song has these healing sound properties. The songs, whether they’re about destruction or heartbreak or death, they’re presented in a way that is beautiful, because the nastiest times of our life do have a point of beauty,” the “Rose Colored Lenses” artist told the outlet, noting that the visuals were inspired by Thierry Mugler’s 1995 couture show. “They are the shadow, they are the charcoal, they are the shading. You can’t have a painting without highlights and contrast.”
Miley Cyrus Collaborated With Boyfriend Maxx Morando on ‘Something Beautiful’
Maxx Morando helped Miley write the album’s self-titled song “Something Beautiful” and also produced other songs included in the album.
“I worked with my dad [Billy Ray Cyrus] forever. That’s how me and my ex-husband met each other,” the “Malibu” singer told the publication. “I’ve always worked with the people that I love. And Maxx just inspires me so much.”
In addition to their working relationship, Miley and Maxx have progressed in their romantic bond after they started dating in 2021. In September 2024, a source exclusively told Life & Style that “Miley goes back and forth a lot about whether she ever wants to get married again [after her 2019 divorce from ex-husband Liam Hemsworth], but lately she’s started dropping hints that she’s ready for Maxx to put a ring on her finger.”
The source explained that Miley’s change of heart on marriage stemmed from Maxx’s nurturing soul, especially when “he calms her down when she’s stressing out and just makes life 100 percent better.”
