Olivia Culpo Pregnant With Baby No. 1, Expecting 1st Child With Husband Christian McCaffrey
Olivia Culpo is pregnant, announcing she’s expecting baby No. 1 with husband Christian McCaffrey eight months after their romantic Rhode Island wedding.
“Next chapter, motherhood,” the former Miss Universe, 32, captioned an Instagram photo on Monday, March 10, showing her cradling her sizable baby bump in a flowing white dress. She followed it up with a video walking through a field with NFL star Christian, 28, in a more form-fitting white gown as they held hands and at one point both cupped her bump.
Olivia’s famous friends rushed to send their congratulations in the comments.
“Sooooo happy for you O!!” Gigi Hadid cheered, while Jeannie Mai wrote, “You, my thoughtful, understanding, full of life friend, will be a phenomenal mom. Welcome to the club Olivia.”
Lea Michele, Olivia Munn, Demi Lovato and Nicky Hilton also sent congratulatory messages to their expectant pal.
Olivia’s sister Aurora Culpo hinted that she didn’t know if she was going to become an aunt to a niece or nephew, writing, “I’m so happy,” with a series of red heat emojis, adding, “Cant wait to spoil him/her forever!!!!
The former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model sparked pregnancy rumors after being photographed recently sporting an apparent baby bump while running errands near her Encino, California, home.
Olivia and Christian fueled dating rumors in July 2019 after they were photographed holding hands while on a vacation in Mexico. She confirmed their romance in October 2019 while wearing Christian’s jersey to a Carolina Panthers game, cheering on her boyfriend when he played with the team.
In February 2020, the former beauty queen gushed over the running back in a heartfelt Valentine’s Day post.
“Happy Valentine’s Day to my best friend. Thank you for changing my life and showing me the kind of love I always wanted but never thought was possible. You are the definition of an answered prayer. I am the luckiest girl in the world,” Olivia wrote next to a carousel of personal photos of the couple.
Christian got down on one knee and proposed on April 2, 2023, while the couple were on a getaway in southwestern Utah.
Olivia and Christian married on June 29, 2024, in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. She wore a custom Dolce & Gabbana gown featuring long sleeves and a full skirt for the nuptials, explaining to Vogue why she chose a slightly conservative look.
“I didn’t want it to exude sex in any way, shape or form,” she told the outlet about her wedding dress. “I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it’s complimenting me, not overpowering me.”
“I never felt more beautiful than when I was in my ceremony dress and under my veil — I really wanted the simplicity of each component to harmonize perfectly,” she added.
Olivia shared how anxious the San Francisco 49ers star was to tie the knot.
“Christian blurted out ‘I do!’ within the first 30 seconds of the ceremony,” she told Vogue at the time. “The priest told him we weren’t quite there yet, and our family and friends had a great moment of laughter at his eagerness. As a bride, there’s no better feeling than your husband not being able to wait a second longer to marry you.”
