Pauly D Jokes That Girlfriend Nikki Hall Left ‘Jersey Shore’ Because She Was Jealous of Vinny
Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio found himself caught in the middle of Nikki Hall and Vinny Guadagnino on the Thursday, October 24, episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. While the group was in Pauly and Nikki’s hometown of Las Vegas, the DJ had to make sure he was giving enough attention to both his girlfriend and “side piece.”
The cast went out to dinner at Casa Di Amore and Pauly, 44, asked Nikki, 32, “My love, what are you going to get?” Before she could answer, Vinny, 36, smirked and jumped in by replying with what he was ordering. “He wasn’t talking to you!” Nikki clapped back.
The two jokingly went back and forth as Pauly commented, “Nikki and Vinny are fighting. That’s why you can’t have the main and the side piece at the same dinner!” In a confessional, he joked, “Maybe that’s why she stepped away from the show.”
Pauly and Vinny have joked for years about being more than friends and even got “married” in a “brommitment” ceremony in 2018. However, Vinny lost his spot as Pauly’s No. 1 when the Rhode Island native started dating Nikki following season 2 of Double Shot at Love in 2019.
While heading to the Casa Di Amore dinner, Vinny pointed out that Nikki was also his ex since he technically dated her on Double Shot at Love too. “You wish,” she told him. “Vinny, you weren’t even an option, chill. But they were like, ‘You know you could date both?’ and I was like, ‘I’m good.’”
This was Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola’s first time meeting Nikki and she was thrilled to see how happy Pauly was. “I love you guys together,” she told Nikki. In a confessional, she gushed, “I’ve heard so much about [Nikki]. She is such a doll. This girl has to be somebody super special to lock down DJ Pauly D.”
After Double Shot at Love, Nikki and Pauly moved in together amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. She then began appearing on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, but stepped away from the show in 2022 after a season 5 fight with Angelina Pivarnick. At the time, Nikki said she was taking a break for her mental health. She was absent from all of season 6 in 2023 and the first half of season 7 earlier this year.
However, Nikki made her grand return during the September 19 episode and has popped up throughout the second half of season 7. Luckily, she and Angelina, 38, have buried the hatchet after their past drama.
“It’s a little awkward seeing Nikki,” the podcast host admitted during the show’s October 10 episode. “Last time I saw her was when I turned the water into wine like Jesus Christ [and poured it on her]. But I think she’s over it. I think I’m over it. We hugged it out. She even made us shots.”
Although Pauly and Nikki are fairly private about their relationship, they’ve now been going strong for nearly five years. Meanwhile, Vinny was not successful in finding a partner on Double Shot at Love and is still single.
