Pete Davidson Escorted Ariana Grande’s Nonna to the VMAs After-Party and the Pics Are Too Sweet
This is too cute! Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson were the cutest couple at the 2018 VMAs on Monday, Aug. 20, but there’s actually another woman who stole the SNL star’s heart that night — Ari’s grandma, Marjorie Grande. After the awards show concluded, Pete escorted his fianceé’s Nonna to a VMAs after-party and the pictures are just too sweet. Check out the precious moment below, and get your tissues ready.

ICYMI, the Sweetener singer honored her Nonna on stage at the VMAs while performing “God is a Woman.” At the end of the song, she brought out her grandma, her mom, Joan, and her cousin, Lani, to the stage, and it was a seriously touching moment. Ari’s Nonna was all smiles and looked like she was having the time of her life with her fam!

Earlier in the night, Ariana and Pete made their red carpet debut as an engaged couple, and even packed on some serious PDA. The two couldn’t keep their hands off each other, and Pete even wore a bracelet with Ariana’s soon-to-be initials: AGD. During an interview with Beats 1, Ari said that she plans to hyphenate her name to be Ariana Grande-Davidson after she and Pete get married, even though she hopes to one day just go by “Ariana.” She mentioned that she wants to keep her last name to honor her grandpa because “he was so proud of our name.”
It looks like the singer has some time to decide though, because she says it could be five years until she and Pete say “I do.” Looks like we’ll have to just soak up all their PDA pics to hold us over in the meantime!
