Post Malone’s Ex-Fiancee Hee Sung Park Files For Custody Over Daughter
Park filed documents into the Superior Court of California for full custody of their daughter on April 16, 2024, according to court documents obtained by Life & Style.
In the filing, Park agreed to have joint legal rights with the Grammy-nominated artist, and agreed to give him visitation rights. However, she requested an order for Malone (real name Austin Richard Post) to pay her legal fees.
Two days after Park’s filing, TMZ reported that Malone filed documents in Utah, as that’s where he and Park allegedly split custody with their child.
The paperwork did not reveal the child’s name, but the little one was referred to by the initials “DDP.”
Neither Malone nor Park has publicly addressed their child custody battle.

“I’m excited for this next chapter in my life, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and for since I could remember I was sad,” Malone told People in a story published on May 3, 2022. “Time to take care of my body and my family and friends, and spread as much love as we can every day.”
Their daughter, whose name has remained private, was born on May 26, 2022.
That October, the “Congratulations” artist opened up about how it was “tough” not being able to see his then-infant child during his hectic work schedule.
“I’m just happy to see her. But it is heartbreaking having to leave and not be able to be with her all the time,” Malone told GQ at the time.
“[Being a dad] changes your life in the best way ever,” Malone told CBS Sunday Morning in August 2024, later admitting, “Four years ago, I was on a rough path. It was terrible.”
The proud dad also got his daughter’s initials “DDP” tattooed on his forehead.

In June 2022, Malone let it slip during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show that he had proposed to Park and that they were engaged.
“We’re not married — it was just a proposal,” Malone explained. “I had lost a significant amount of money at the table. We go upstairs and I’m off my rocker hammered and I was like, ‘Hey, you wanna marry me?’” the “Sunflower” singer explained during an episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast one year later. “I got a ring and all this stuff. And she said ‘no.’ She’s like, ‘Ask me tomorrow,’ and I was like, ‘Alright.’ And then I did and I was sober and it was nice.”

It’s unclear when Malone and Park called it quits. Since their breakup, Malone moved on to his current girlfriend, Christy Lee.
