Forget about a baby — Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went for the pet instead! According to People, the royal couple got a new dog together earlier this summer, however, the pup — whom they’ve reportedly named Oz — is reportedly causing some trouble at Kensington Palace.

A source previously revealed that Harry, 33, and Meghan, 37, are now parents to a Labrador who has been traveling with them to the Cotswolds and living with them at Nottingham Cottage over the past few months. The problem? Meghan’s Beagle named Guy allegedly isn’t warming up to Oz!

“The lab absolutely loves Guy, but Guy doesn’t like the new dog at all! When the lab comes near him, he nips and tries to get away,” a source told Ok! Magazine in the magazine’s newest issue, on newsstands now.

Meghan has been a dog owner since before Oz (who’s name fans are speculating could do with their first royal tour to Australia) came into the new picture. However, she had to leave behind her Labrador-shepherd mix Bogart when she arrived in London from Toronto after she got engaged to Harry in November because he was too old to fly. Luckily for Meg, though, Guy, has been by her side during her past few months of royal life, which is perhaps why he’s jealous of Oz!

“She’s hopeful that with time, Guy will get along with their new pooch — or at least learn to tolerate him,” the insider added.

Palace sources also recently revealed that Harry was considering gifting Meghan a pup since Christmas — months before they said “I do” at St. George’s Chapel. “Harry has been waiting until his circumstances made it practical to have one,” royal biographer Penny Junor previously said. “He loves (dogs).”

The best part? Dogs love Meghan too! During the couple’s official engagement interview last year, they joked over how much Queen Elizabeth’s corgis adore her. “The corgis took to you straight away,” Harry teased in at the time. “I’ve spent the last 33 years being barked at; this one walks in, absolutely nothing.” Too funny!

And Meghan did not deny the special bond between herself and the royal canines. “That’s true,” she added. “Just laying on my feet during tea, it was very sweet.”

We’re glad Guy has another furry friend (or not), but we’re still counting down the days until Harry and Meghan announce they’re expecting a royal bundle of joy!
