Remember the utterly annoying — yet extremely catchy — hit song “Gangnam Style” by South Korean singer Psy?

Well the music video managed to exceed YouTube‘s view limit, prompting the video service to change up its counter.

As of today, the 2012 K-pop single has been watched more than 2.15 million times. While the site previously used a 32-bit integer for its counter (yeah, we don’t get the tech lingo either), it’s been forced to switch to a 64-bit integer.

“We never thought a video would be watched in numbers greater than a 32-bit integer…but that was before we met Psy,” YouTube said in a statement about the incredible feat.

Now, the video can be viewed at least 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 times — or more than nine quintillion. That’s a lot of digits.

So what’s the second most-watched video after “Gangnam Style?” Justin Bieber’s “Baby” — though it needs another billion views to catch up!
