‘Pump Rules’ Star Ariana Madix Claps Back at Fan Who Thinks Lala Kent ‘Stole’ Costar Stassi Schroeder’s Spotlight
We’re all queens here! Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent posted a pretty regal photo wearing a crown on April 11 and her costar, Ariana Madix, took to the comments section to clap back at a fan who suggested her engaged costar “stole” Stassi Schroeder‘s spotlight on the show — her “crown,” if you will.
“I’m so here for this,” Stassi, 30, commented on Lala’s super badass Instagram photo, to which a fan responded, “Did she steal your crown?”
Well then. The shady comment had fans and followers rushing to reply to the user with how much they adore all the girls equally and that they each have their own “crown” that belongs to them and only them. Girls supporting girls — that’s what we like!
The show of solidarity from fans brought Ariana, 33, into the mix as well with her own comment. “We don’t compete with each other,” she replied to the thread of comments. “Anyone who does isn’t a queen at all. Which is why we all are.” Preach it, girl.
Lala, 28, is really lucky to be surrounded by such an amazing group of girlfriends who seriously have her back, considering she’s had a rough year. Her father, with whom she was extremely close, passed away on April 23, 2018. She has been incredibly vocal — both on Pump Rules and her social media — about the difficult journey that is struggling with grief.
Back in September 2018, things started to look up for Lala when her boyfriend of two years, Randall Emmett, proposed to her while the couple was in Cabo celebrating the actress’ birthday. As if an engagement couldn’t have been a better way to brighten up her year, Lala even revealed that her 48-year-old fiancé actually asked for her dad’s permission to marry her before he passed away.
“Randall had told me that he had asked my dad permission to marry me earlier this year before my father passed away which is such an incredible gift because I lost my dad suddenly,” she explained. “I believe my father was definitely with us last night in spirit, which makes me even happier and our parents are thrilled!”
