RHOBH’s Kyle Richards Allegedly Tried to ‘Hook Up’ With Kevin Costner, Says Sutton Stracke
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Sutton Stracke claimed that her costar Kyle Richards had her eyes set on a certain Yellowstone star during a recent ski trip to Aspen.
“Kyle and I were having this conversation, and she was in Aspen, and Kevin Costner was there,” Sutton, 53, told Garcelle Beauvais and Jennifer Tilly during the RHOBH After Show on Tuesday, November 19. “She was trying to hook up with Kevin Costner.”
Garcelle, 57, interrupted and said, “But you want Kevin Costner!”
“I know,” Sutton continued. “I don’t think that Morgan [Wade’s] the end all, be all because [Kyle] really wants … it’s not all about Morgan, there’s some Kevin Costner mixed in there.”
Kyle, 55, has been linked to Morgan, 29, since her separation from estranged husband Mauricio Umansky. However, the mom of four said in July 2023 that she and the country singer were just “very good friends.”
Kyle’s sexuality has been a hot topic of discussion since RHOBH season 13, and during the reunion host Andy Cohen pushed her to clarify her relationship with Morgan. While Kyle answered with a definitive “no” when Andy, 56, asked if she and Morgan were a couple, she hesitated when she was asked if the two were more than friends before she again said “no.”
“I mean, I love her and she’s my friend and I love her,” Kyle told Andy and her RHOBH costars.
Kyle didn’t make things any clearer when she was questioned on whether or not she could see herself with Morgan.
“I don’t know, I don’t know! I don’t know, and by the way — I mean — I don’t know. I don’t know,” the Bravolebrity said, flustered.
On November 11, Kyle revealed that she had discussed her sexuality with her daughters, but she failed to mention what she specifically said.
“The fact that there were so many rumors out there, I took that opportunity to have that conversation with my daughters to be able to say to them, ‘Listen, we know what’s being said, but this is where I stand and how I actually feel, and I’m sharing this with you because I’ve always led by example,’” Kyle explained in an interview with People. “For me as a mom, I want my kids to always be able to come to me with the hard conversations and know that they’re going to be loved and accepted no matter what — and they are my best friends.”
She continued, “For me, to have their support — regardless of what happens in my life — means the world to me. They just want me to be happy. After we got past that difficult part of the conversation, the jokes that have ensued!”
During the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 premiere, Kyle touched on the rumors about her and Morgan. She said she wasn’t “going to use” Morgan’s name “intentionally.”
“I don’t want to speak on anyone’s behalf but my own,” Kyle told her costars.
However, during a private confessional, Garcelle argued that it was “a little too late not to be able to say Morgan’s name.”
“We’ve been talking about her. She’s been with us,” Garcelle concluded.
