RHONJ’s Teresa Giudice Dissolves Her Lip Filler in Graphic Video: ‘A Little Bit Nervous’
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice revealed that she dissolved her lip filler, and gave fans a glimpse into the process by posting a video and the results.
Teresa, 52, took to TikTok to share a graphic video that showed her explaining why she was removing her filler, as well as the process of having the filler removed.
“Come with me to get my lips dissolved,” she began in the video alongside beauty therapist Chanel, which was filmed at a spa in West Caldwell, New Jersey. “The reason why I’m getting it done is because [of the] migration at the top of my lip over here [pointing to upper lip], so I met Chanel and she’s been doing my Botox and I really like her work so I’m sticking with her, so I’m going to start fresh.”
After noting that several social media users had “made comments” about her lips, Teresa explained that she didn’t have any issues with the feature. “I mean I like my lips, but I’m going to try a different way,” she said.
She admitted she was “a little bit nervous but excited” to have her lips dissolved, adding that she had not had any cosmetic work done to her lips in “a while.”
Chanel then chimed in to explain what the procedure entailed. “Initially it’s going to be some swelling, some bruising, which we discussed and then [Teresa] will be back in this chair in two weeks so we can re-fill her, and start fresh so she can be, just nice fresh lips,” she told the camera.
The procedure was documented in the clip, and Teresa later checked in eight hours later to reveal how she had been recovering. “So guys, it’s 10:00 p.m. right now, this is what my lips look like right now, the swelling went down, and I got it done around 1:30 p.m.,” she explained as she pointed out a small bruise under her mouth.
Fans previously weighed in on Teresa’s lips after she was photographed with Taylor Swift at Coachella in April. After many people wondered what she did to alter her appearance, Michigan-based plastic surgeon Anthony Youn, M.D., F.A.C.S. exclusively told Life & Style that she appeared “to have recent lip filler injections as her lips look quite puffy and plump.”
Meanwhile, board certified Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dan Yamini also speculated about what work Teresa had done. “If she’s had any secret plastic surgery done, most likely it would be a combination of brow lift, midface, lower face and neck lift,” he told Life & Style. “Either way, she’s aging beautifully.”
Teresa has been open about going under the knife in the past, and she previously admitted to getting a nose job in 2021.
While appearing at the New Jersey Ultimate Women’s Expo at the NJ Convention & Expo Center in 2021, she told the crowd that she got the “tip” of her nose done. “I was so nervous about getting it,” she shared.
“I asked Louie, I’m, like, ‘Babe, should I get my nose done?’ And he’s like, ‘Is it going to make you feel better?’ And I said, ‘Yes.’ So he said, ‘Do it,'” she recalled of a conversation she had with now-husband Luis “Louie” Ruelas prior to the procedure.
