Back On? Rihanna And Ex Hassan Jameel Are Reportedly ‘Trying To Make Time For Each Other’ (Exclusive)
With the holidays approaching, it’s a good time for reconciliation and Rihanna may agree. The pop star was spotted out with her ex, Hassan Jameel, having dinner at Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica on Nov. 28.
Now, it’s been reported that the two are trying to make it work. They both “have had their ups and downs, but are trying to make time for each other now,” a source tells Life & Style, on newsstands now. “Rihanna’s planning to spend Christmas with her family in Barbados and has even invited Hassan to join her for a few days.”
The singer and Saudi Toyota heir were first spotted in Ibiza in June 2017 hanging out together (pictured above) and reportedly called it quits almost a year later. However, weeks after their reported split, they were seen together vacationing in Mexico this past summer. So it seems that these two are far from being completely over.
Rihanna has always been vocal about being independent and not needing a man, so by the looks of it, if she’s in a relationship with someone, it must mean she’s really into them. It’s rare for the “Pour It Up” singer to be in an extended relationship.
Prior to first being seen with Hassan, the 30-year-old received a public declaration of love on the 2016 VMAs stage when Drake confessed his feelings before presenting her with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award. “She’s someone… she’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old, she’s one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life, I’ve looked up to her even though she’s younger than me. She’s a living, breathing legend in our industry,” he told Rihanna, along with the rest of the world.
Most recently, Drake admitted he pictured a fairytale life with the singer. “Like, ‘Oh, Drake started a family with Rihanna and this is like so perfect.’ It looks so good on paper,” he said on the HBO series, The Shop. It looks like Riri has happily moved on, though. Good for her!
