Congrats! Robin Thicke and April Love Geary Announce They’re Expecting Baby No. 2
Congrats are in order for Robin Thicke and April Love Geary! Just six months after welcoming their daughter, Mia Love, the couple announced they’re expecting baby No. 2. They each took to Instagram to reveal the exciting news on Tuesday, Aug. 21.
“‘They said we couldn’t make another anthem, so we went and made another anthem!’ Thank you April ❤️!” Robin captioned a video of the sonogram, while April shared a clip of Mia holding sonogram photos. “Well, someone is going to be a big sister next year! We’re so excited to share with y’all that I’m expecting again! ? We find out Saturday if it’s a boy or a girl! What do you guys think it’s going to be?” she asked in the caption. She added that she’s due on Robin’s birthday — aka Mar. 10. So cute!
Back in February, the pop star and his girlfriend welcomed their first child together and the doting dad shared a super sweet clip of his newborn, just hours after she was born. “On [Feb. 22] at 13:33 Mia Love Thicke was born. Thank you, God and April Love,” the “Blurred Lines” singer wrote in the caption of a video that showed him holding little Mia in the delivery room as she gently cried and fussed.
Even though Mia was Robin and April’s first child together, it was baby No. 2 for the 41-year-old because he was already a dad to eight-year-old son Julian Fuego, whom he shares with his ex-wife Paula Patton. It looked like Julian took very well to his new role as a big brother, though, because April shared a cute clip of Julian reading a bedtime story to his little sister at the time — and Robin revealed that Julian helped pick out her name.
“Julian came up with the name… and I suggested the middle name Love after her mommy,” Robin revealed to People. Aww. We know he’ll be the best big brother to this new bundle of joy, too — and Mia will be a great first-time big sis!
