Roger Mathews Defends Ex-Wife Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley Against Instagram Troll: ‘Be Nice, Everyone’

“Perfect morning. Worked out just right so I got to walk my babies into their first day of school,” Roger captioned two sweet videos on Tuesday, September 3.

In the first clip, Roger is carrying his daughter, Meilani, and his son, Greyson, into their school building. In the second, he’s holding their hands as they head into the classroom.

“When the dust settles — and it always does — your vision is crystal clear as parents and what we are here to do,” he concluded, adding the hashtag “focused.”

Instead of focusing on the precious moment between a dad and his children, one hater decided to bring up JWoww and wrote, “Doesn’t surprise me Jenni is nowhere to be found.” Ouch!

Thankfully, Roger decided not to feed into the negativity and shot the troll down. “Be nice, everyone. Jeez. It’s not that hard,” he replied. “It’s social media. A snapshot of real life. A moment in time. That’s it. Nothing more.”

As it happens, this isn’t the first time that Roger has spoken kindly about Jenni, 33, and their split. “Thursday 8-29-19 I was officially divorced and I’m excited for what the future brings as a single dad,” he told Us Weekly.

“Although this last year was the toughest ones of my life in almost every way it was also one of tremendous growth and one that tested my human spirit,” Roger confessed.

“You can’t have the good without the bad and I’m so looking forward to so many positive things with my kids,” he continued. “They are who kept me grounded and focused through it all and they have always been my priority and focus.”

As for his relationship with JWoww? Roger said, “Jenni and I will forever be tied by two beautiful children we love so much and I am sure we will coparent amazing together.”

Beyond discussing his own relationship with the Jersey Shore star, Roger also had some positive things to say about Jenni’s new beau, Zach Clayton Carpinello. ICYMI: The pair confirmed their relationship in April and have been fawning over each other on red carpets and social media ever since. 

Roger isn’t bitter, though! He told the publication that he wishes Jenni and Zach, 24, “nothing but the best, truly.” 

“It takes far more effort and energy to be negative than to be positive and that’s my focus both for myself and my children,” Roger also noted, before concluding with, “Positive growth. Onwards and upwards! God bless.”

Considering how ~in love~ Jenni and Zach look, we’re relieved to hear that Roger is A-OK with their situation. After all, they may be “family” one day. Not only has Jenni introduced both of her kids to Zach, but she’s also become quite close with his family. In fact, the pair were spotted celebrating Zach’s mom’s 50th birthday in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on August 15.

 “Jenni and Zack seemed very happy and had a wonderful time celebrating,” a source told Life & Style at the time. “They all enjoyed dinner at Martorano’s, which is one of the top Italian restaurants in Atlantic City, and one of the Jersey Shore fam’s faves.”
