One of the best and worst things about being a YouTube star is that fans know about every moment in your life. For Roman Atwood, this means the good moments, like his wedding and birth of his kids, and the bad, like when he shared the tragic news that his mother had suddenly passed away on May 30. Luckily, the 36-year-old has a lot of love and support in his life, and people to stand by him through it all. Scroll through the gallery below to meet his beautiful family.
On May 30, Roman revealed that a tragic accident led to his mom’s death at just 58 years old. He said she fell off a scooter and hit her head, and “immediately lost all vitals.” She was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, she couldn’t be saved.

Having always been incredibly close with his father (he even bought him a car in 2016 for his birthday), Roman was most concerned about his dad after the tragedy. “I will be gone for a bit. I will be by my family’s side, especially my father’s. Please pray for my family, and especially my father.”

Roman only has one sibling: a brother by the name of Dale. Dale is 34 years old, and while he’s not as well-known as Roman, he also dabbles in YouTube videos.

Wife: Brittney Atwood (formerly Smith)
Roman met his future wife, Brittney, at a friend’s wedding in 2008. The couple welcomed two kids, and then finally got engaged and married ten years later in 2018. Brittney has always had Roman’s back, and she proved she will continue to be there for him when she shared his sad announcement along with some broken heart emojis on May 30.

Noah is Roman’s oldest child, who he had with ex-wife Shanna Riley. Noah is 14 years old, and he’s totally Roman’s mini-me. He even has his own YouTube channel!

Roman and Brittney welcomed their first child together in 2011, a son named Kane. Kane is now 8 years old and chock full of personality!

Cora is the newest member of the Atwood family at just under two years old. Roman has referred to the cutie as “my little everything” and can always be seen cuddling her and showing her new things! We’re so glad he has so much love and support surrounding him in this difficult time.
