Saint West Was Hospitalized for Three Days With Pneumonia — and We Are Trying to Stay Calm

The Kardashian-West family had a rough end to 2017. Kim Kardashian confirmed on Tuesday, Jan. 2, that her and Kanye West‘s son Saint, 2, was hospitalized after Christmas with a case of pneumonia.

“My precious baby boy is so strong!” Kim wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her holding the tot. “After spending three nights in the hospital & seeing my baby get multiple IV’s and hooked up to oxygen machines, our end of year was challenging. Pneumonia is so scary.”

She added, “I just want to thanks [sic] every nurse & doctor out there who works so hard around the clock. We are so grateful for you all! He’s home and all better. He’s so resilient I’m sure he will still say the ambulance ride was cool! My strong Saint.” Get more details in the video below:

Given that Kimye celebrated the New Year at a party, fans figured before her announcement that Saint’s health was improving. The mother-of-two previously posted a shot of her little boy around the time he was hospitalized. Next to the family pic, which included daughter North, 4, the reality star simply wrote, “Happy Holidays.”
