Scott Disick Loves Sofia Richie’s ‘Homebody’ Ways: ‘She’s Incredibly Grounded and a Stable Force’
While Scott Disick and his girlfriend, Sofia Richie, may be dealing with a 15-year age gap, the 21-year-old model is hardly immature. In fact, in many ways, Sofia has changed the longtime KUWTK star, 36, for the better.
“Sofia, like [Scott’s ex] Kourtney [Kardashian], is a homebody and that’s what he likes most about her,” a source exclusively told Life & Style. “Even though she’s young, she’s incredibly grounded and a stable force for him — which he needs.”
Part of that stability, of course, includes thinking about the pair’s future. “Scott and Sofia are 100 percent planning their life together,” the insider continued. “Sofia spends seven nights a week with Scott at his house and it would be really nice for them to have a place to start over together.”
As it stands, Scott and Sofia have toured a few homes together including a $20 million mansion in Malibu complete with four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a pool, tennis court and incredible views.
Surely, the 22,000-square-foot palace would be roomy enough for Scott’s three children — Mason, 9, Reign, 4 and Penelope, 7 — to stay in when they’re with their dad. Question is, would Kourtney be OK with that? After all, the Poosh.com founder, 40, has taken issue with her kids spending too much time with Sofia in the past.
Thankfully, that’s no longer the case! “Kourtney would love it if they lived together and made it official because she thinks that Sofia is really good for Scott and when Scott is good then she knows the kids are good and that’s all she cares about,” an additional source told Life & Style.
As sweet as it is for Kourtney to give Sofia her stamp of approval, it’s also worth noting that Scott himself fully realizes how much being with Sofia has helped him grow as a person and father. “I think it’s hard, anywhere, to find somebody that you can be comfortable with. The truth was, without her, I was always looking for somebody or something,” Scott expressed during a private interview on his new series, Flip It Like Disick.
“She’s definitely been that little piece that’s calmed me down and made me a better man and made things, you know, easier in my life.”
