Look at this new mama! The actress really has been glowing since she revealed her pregnancy with boyfriend Matte Babel on June 28. In fact, her post to Instagram took the whole world by surprise.

“Does this mean I’m allowed to drive in the carpool lane at all times now?” she captioned the incredible portrait. She wore black bottoms and statement earrings to accompany her growing tummy on the shoot.

Shay also shared a YouTube video featuring her beau to explain why she waited until she was six months along to share the incredible news. A lot of it had to do with living her life in the public eye.

“When you’re in the public eye, there’s some things you want to keep a secret until you feel ready … this for me, has been the hardest,” she revealed. “This is going to be really fun and awesome when I’m not trying to hide it anymore.”

“I didn’t want to come out on social media so early on,” she added. “I think pregnancy is awesome for the most part.” Plus, she even showed fans her ultrasound in the vid! So sweet.

If you’re a fan of Shay, you probably know the PLL star previously opened up about her devastating miscarriage back in 2018. She posted a sonogram of a tiny baby and a broken heart emoji at the time.

“Last, although it was an amazing year, it didn’t come without some hardships,” the brunette beauty wrote to accompany the sonogram.
