Sofia Richie Wears a Thong Bikini While Partying in Mexico: See Photos!

We see you, Sofia Richie! The newly minted 22-year-old was spotted rocking a tie-dye thong bikini while partying with friends in Mexico for her birthday. From the looks of it, Sofia is A-OK following her most recent split from on-again, off-again boyfriend Scott Disick.

The up-and-coming actress and the 37-year-old Talentless founder have been hard to ~keep up~ with in recent months. In May, Life & Style confirmed Scott and Sofia’s breakup after nearly three years together. Less than two months later, on the 4th of July, the former flames were spotted reconciling their differences at Nobu Malibu before being photographed walking side by side on the beach.

At the time, a source revealed to Life & Style that Scott and Sofia were “giving love another shot” but taking things slow so the longtime Keeping Up With the Kardashians star could continue to “work on himself.” In late April, Scott checked himself into a Colorado rehab facility to deal with emotional issues related to the deaths of his parents.

However, the Flip It Like Disick executive producer returned to Los Angeles after less than a week in treatment. Despite Scott and Sofia’s brief attempt to keep the spark alive, the couple ultimately called it quits for good in August. “They were very happy together but Sofia could not handle his issues,” a separate insider told Life & Style, adding Scott prefers to rely on his ex and mother of his children, Kourtney Kardashian.

“They were never cut out for the long term because he has too much baggage and has trouble opening up to anyone besides Kourtney. When he gets low, Kourtney is the only person he can turn to,” the source continued. “It’s been a very strange back and forth between Sofia and Kourtney.”

With Scott focused on the Poosh.com founder, 41, and their kids — Mason, Penelope and Reign, — and Sofia living her best single life, it looks like their whirlwind romance has finally come to an end.
