Love is real, y’all, and if Steve Kazee‘s touching birthday shout-out to Jenna Dewan doesn’t prove it, we’re not sure what will. The 44-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday, December 3, to wish his lady a very happy birthday — and what he wrote will melt your heart.

“This woman … What an indelible mark she has placed on my heart,” he began the lengthy post about the 39-year-old. “The day of her birth has been a full one for us so far … Dropping off the kiddo at school, baby doc appointment, nursery planning, moving into our new home, picking the kiddo up from school and so many other little life moments. Through it all I love catching eyes with her and knowing that she is the person I will be spending the rest of my life with. I couldn’t be more grateful that she was put on this earth and that we found each other through all the noise. I love you, Jenna, and I hope you have the happiest of birthdays!” BRB. We’re crying.

The lovely couple is head over heels for each other. Most recently, Jenna gushed about what it was like when she first met her man, and we totally get why she’s crazy about him. “You just know if you have it,” she divulged to Entertainment Tonight. “It’s the sparks that fly and it just works really well. I am in a really great place and totally in love. It’s nice.”

Things only keep getting better for Jenna and Steve, considering they’re expecting their first child together. Jenna already has a daughter — 6-year-old Everly — with her ex Channing Tatum. However, Steve basically considers Everly as his own and has openly spoken about everything she’s taught him about parenting, including “what it means to love and communicate with a child,” according to another Instagram post he shared in September when he announced the baby news.

He added, “Jenna also brought with her one of the greatest gifts one could ever imagine … her beautiful daughter. Evie burst into my life like a supernova and has continued to burn so brightly in it.” Can we say blended family goals or what?!
