ExclusiveSummer House’s Lindsay Admits Motherhood Has Been ‘Interesting,’ Shares Update on Daughter Gemma
Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard shares an update about her first few months of motherhood after she welcomed her daughter, Gemma, during an exclusive interview with Life & Style.
“It’s interesting,” Lindsay, 38, tells Life & Style about her experience with motherhood while discussing her partnership with Air Wick. “I can’t speak for everyone, but for me it was … you’re going through a lot in your body as a female. Like … I just had a baby and then I am, like, learning how to become a mom.”
After noting that “there’s so many adjustments and newness in that postpartum phase,” Lindsay adds that her “hormones are all over the place” and “weird things are happening to [her] body.”
However, Lindsay also says that she’s “been soaking up all these beautiful moments” with Gemma, whom she welcomed in December 2024 with her boyfriend, Turner Kufe.
“What’s so interesting is, like, the love that you feel. Your heart just expands and, you know, you just created this little, tiny human being who literally needs you for survival,” she says. “That’s all you wanna do is, like, help this little baby grow.”
Lindsay goes on to say that it’s been “fun” to see the “milestones” that her daughter has experienced like “rolling over to smiling and laughing and then crawling, walking, talking.”
The Bravo personality also shares an update about Gemma, revealing that she is “such an easy baby.”
“Everyone is so impressed by her whenever they meet her because she’s really easy … All she does is smile,” Lindsay gushes. “She flirts with people and this girl’s like four and a half months old. So I am definitely in for trouble when she grows up.”
Lindsay adds, “She really is such an easy, happy, happy baby, always smiling, always laughing.” She also explains that she can put Gemma “in different environments and she embraces it.”
In addition to sharing an update about Gemma, Lindsay also opens up about her partnership with Air Wick. The mother of one teamed up with the brand to create a collection of vision boards for everyday hosting occasions, which were all inspired by Air Wick’s fragrances. The new collection offers inspiration for hosting, making home entertaining feel approachable and enjoyable.
“I truly think that fragrance is the magic touch when it comes to creating a welcoming environment. And I wanted to partner with Air Wick to help hosts be guests ready every day, whether it’s an impromptu gathering or a special occasion,” Lindsay tells Life & Style about the collaboration. “I love fragrances in the home. It’s like, you know, part of what sets the mood the second that people walk through the door.”
Lindsay – who has been known to host several iconic parties on Summer House – adds, “So I created a collection of vision boards to help inspire other people who might be hosting step into their personal hosting style as inspired by my favorite Air Wick Fragrances.”
“We host so many parties. I’m surprised that we are still, you know, coming up with new themes every day,” she says of the parties thrown on the reality show.
