‘Summer House’ Star Lindsay Hubbard Apparently Unfollows BF Turner Kufe After Daughter’s Birth
Not a good sign. Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard apparently unfollowed boyfriend Turner Kufe, two months after the pair welcomed baby No. 1.
Turner’s name didn’t appear on a search of the 1,668 people Lindsay, 38, follows as of Tuesday, February 11. It’s unclear when she apparently unfollowed him.
The reality star only showed the investor a handful of times on her Instagram page, making sure to never show his face and not tagging him.
Turner appeared in a photo Lindsay shared on July 8, 2024, showing how the couple traveled to Portugal for a wedding. She covered up his face with a brown heart emoji.
The businessman’s hand was seen holding one of their newborn daughter’s feet when Lindsay shared her birth announcement on December 8, 2024. “She’s here!! Gemma Britt Kufe,” the Bravolebrity captioned the photo of their newborn while revealing her daughter has Turner’s surname.
Turner was also seen in a video wheeling their daughter in a stroller into a hospital elevator while Lindsay filmed from behind after she was discharged following Gemma’s birth. She made sure not to show Turner’s face, cropping the video at his shoulders.
Lindsay had been extremely private about her romance with Turner ever since revealing she had a new man in her life during the Summer House season 8 reunion in June 2024.
“He’s wonderful. I actually met him and went out with him three-and-a-half years ago,” she told reunion host Andy Cohen. “Some of my friends call it a boomerang, where you go out the first time, the timing wasn’t right and they come back around. So, that’s basically what happened.”
Lindsay was previously engaged to her Summer House costar, Carl Radke. In August 2023, news broke that he called off their engagement just two and a half months before they were supposed to tie the knot.
The New York native went out with Turner following her split from Carl, 40. She explained things didn’t work out at the time because he was in the middle of a career change. Although Turner broke up with Lindsay during their first go at romance, she said that he did it in “such a respectful way,” she was open to dating again when he reached back out in December 2023.
Lindsay shared her pregnancy news on July 4, 2024.
“Trigger Warning: This post contains more fireworks than the 4th of July! WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!!” Lindsay wrote alongside a carousel of pictures of her showing off her baby bump on Instagram. ”I truly believe the universe has a bigger plan and this is it!” She added without specifically naming Turner, “My boyfriend and I are beyond excited to welcome our little #HubbCub this holiday season 2024!!”
The duo maintained separate residences in New York City, although Lindsay revealed that Turner stayed at her apartment as she neared the end of her pregnancy so he could be there when she went into labor.
“When [the baby] came, he had paternity leave,” she said of Turner during a February 6 appearance on Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap” podcast. “He was pretty much with me nonstop throughout that entire process, which was so incredible. But now he’s back at work, so it’s me and Gemma girl grinding out day and night over here.”
Lindsay also made it clear that marriage wasn’t the “ultimate goal” when it came to her romance with Turner.
“I took on a completely different mindset in the romantic department after my breakup with Carl,” she explained on the “Housewives Nightcap” podcast. “And even though I got pregnant and now have a baby, I’m not putting the pressure on the romantic department because I have the baby now. That was my ultimate goal. And now I can take my time to make sure my romantic relationship is compatible and is gonna go the distance.”
Lindsay added that while “nothing is guaranteed – even in marriage,” she’s happy with where things stand in her life. “I’m not thinking about engagement and marriage, still right now. If it happens for me, amazing, and if it doesn’t, I got my fairytale,” referring to becoming a mom.
