Travis Kelce Needs to ‘Keep Up With’ Taylor Swift Amid Conditioning, Says ESPN Reporter
ESPN reporter Hannah Storm shared some conditioning advice for Travis Kelce as he trains for the upcoming football season, pointing to his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, as inspiration.
“Can I just say, he’s gotta keep up with his girlfriend, who can do a three-and-a-half-hour concert without skipping a beat. And she does it back-to-back nights,” Hannah, 62, said during the May 31 episode of NFL on ESPN.
While many fans wondered if Travis, 35, would be retiring following the Chiefs’ brutal loss against the Philadelphia Eagles during Super Bowl LIX in February, the tight end confirmed he was coming back for another season during a March episode of his “New Heights” podcast.
“The biggest thing is that I f–cking love playing the game of football,” the Super Bowl champ said about his decision to not retire. “I still feel like I can play at a high level, and possibly at a higher level than I did last year. I don’t think it was my best outing. I think I let my guys down in a lot more moments than I helped them, especially if you look at my track record for how I did in years past. I want to give it a good run.”
While referencing the most recent Super Bowl, Travis continued, “I got a bad taste in my mouth on how I ended the year and how well I was playing and how accountable I was for the people around me.”
After a mediocre 2024-2025 football season, Travis has been dedicated to getting in shape and has been training in Florida. Meanwhile, both he and Taylor, 35, have mostly stayed out of the spotlight as he prepares for his upcoming season with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Neither Taylor nor Travis have publicly shared details about their life in Florida, though an insider exclusively told Life & Style that they’re fitting right in at their new community.
“Taylor has not been spotted much, but everyone is buzzing that she is here. Still, people really leave them alone,” a source exclusively dished on May 29. “I think that has been a nice surprise for them. When they go out to eat or have drinks, people let them be. People in the neighborhood say she has been taking walks around with her security, so she is living fairly normally here.”
The professional athlete began renting a property in Boca Raton, Florida, in April. Despite not confirming that he and Taylor are living together, he seemingly hinted at their living situation during the May 21 episode of his “New Heights” podcast.
“We’ve got chimneys and we’ve got furniture,” he told brother Jason Kelce about the accommodations, which left fans wondering if “we” referred to himself and the “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things” singer.
Podcast guest Ryan Fitzgerald then asked who made the decorating decisions in the home, though Travis made sure to not give away too many details. He said he made the “executive decision by [himself] for the betterment of everyone.”
