When it comes to father-daughter duos, Donald Trump‘s relationship with Ivanka has always rubbed people the wrong way. So when the President of the United States revealed in a speech that she still calls him daddy, the audience was unsurprisingly very uncomfortable.

While visiting North Dakota, Donald explained how Ivanka, 35, begged to join him on the trip. “She said, ‘Dad can I come with you,” he said. “Actually she said ‘Daddy can I go with you?’ I like that.” His daughter was even caught off guard by the comment, visibly wincing as she made her way onto the stage. He continued to gush about the blonde beauty, adding, “Look at Ivanka. Come on up, honey. She’s so good.” Our skin is literally crawling. However, this is not the first time he has made comments about Ivanka that were deemed inappropriate.

In 2003, he bragged about his daughter’s body on The Howard Stern Show. “You know who’s one of the great beauties of the world, according to everybody? And I helped create her. Ivanka,” he bragged. “My daughter, Ivanka. She’s 6 feet tall, she’s got the best body. She made a lot of money as a model—a tremendous amount.”

A few years later while on The View he doubled down on his comments, famously telling the hosts, “I don’t think Ivanka would do that, although she does have a very nice figure. I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”

For her part, Ivanka always seems to defend her father. When Donald made his lewd remarks about groping women, she reveals she just “shrugs off” the unflattering coverage of her dad. “The greatest comfort I have is the fact that I know my father,” she told Fast Company. “Most of the people who write about him don’t. I do,” she explained. “So that gives me an ability to shrug off the things that I read about him that are wrong.”
