Before the reunion, some tea must be spilled. During Vanderpump Rules: Secrets Revealed, fans and followers got a glimpse of some never-before-seen footage from season 8 that shocked and thrilled after the season finale.

Even before the new drama and hilarity that ensued on the special May 26 episode, the season as a whole has been quite the shake-up from start to finish. Jax Taylor and longtime BFF Tom Sandoval seem to have fallen out as friends after a feud over he and now-wife Brittany Cartwright choosing an allegedly homophobic pastor to officiate their wedding. Once Tom, 36, brought up the choice with Jax, 40, their connection took a sharp left turn for the duration of the season.

But the boys weren’t the only ones fighting it out. The self-proclaimed “Witches of WeHo,” a.k.a. Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Kristen Doute, are no more. The “Next Level Basic” author revealed at the top of the season that she and Tom Schwartz‘s wife were no longer feeling the same bond with Kristen, 37.

Stassi, 32, and Katie, 31, told Life & Style exclusively the falling out between the girls was a long time coming. “It’s not just one thing that brought us to this place. It was just a series of years of things,” the blonde beauty revealed at BravoCon in November 2019, months before the season began airing. “You’ve seen us ebb and flow with Kristen a lot and we know sometimes how Kristen can be difficult,” Katie added. “It just reached the wall, it reached the ceiling.”

The ladies even revealed the James Mae founder probably won’t be making an appearance at Stassi’s upcoming wedding to fiancé Beau Clark.

“It’s important to them that they only have people there that are immediate in their lives, who they see a future in their lives with and that they’re close with. It’s important, I think, to keep the wedding intimate,” Katie explained, to which Stassi replied, “Yeah. Basically, a lot of people aren’t going to be invited. That’s what she’s trying to nicely say.”

The “Bubbas” Try to Christen the New House

Tom Schwartz treated wife Katie to an adorable home-cooked meal in their new and spacious Los Angeles home after getting ~legally~ married in Las Vegas. The 37-year-old told fans he and his wife had yet to “christen” their new digs during a confessional — and revealed the sweet dinner he’d made was an attempt to seal the deal. The couple ate spicy fried chicken after a mediocre fish dinner … and Schwartz’s sexy strategies went out the window. “Schwartz’s idea of seduction is competitive eating followed by a food coma,” Katie said during her confessional. “He can try again next year, though.”

Jax and Brittany Talk Parenting

Married couple Jax and Brittany end up on the subject of babies — yes, Jax says he’s “ready” to have them — and what parenting methods the couple will utilize when the time comes. For anyone who knows Jax, it probably came as no surprise to hear the SUR bartender adamant that his wife be the main caretaker of their future children … and insist he could never be alone with them. Some men never grow up, y’all.

Stassi and Scheana Bond Over Hazing SUR Newbies

During a cute Zoom break between the never-before-seen footage, Stassi and on-again, off-again pal Scheana got real about “hazing” new SUR employees while they learn the ropes. You might remember when Stassi pressured Scheana into polishing the glassware at SUR in the first few episodes of season 1; Turns out, Scheana did the same thing to new girl Dayna Kathan when she started at the restaurant, too. Some things never change!

James Kennedy Gets Turned Down for ‘See You Next Tuesday’ … Again

During a confessional moment while driving with girlfriend Raquel Leviss, James reveals he got a little too intoxicated one night and asked boss and friend Lisa Vanderpump for his Tuesday night party back … a.k.a. his pride and joy. Unfortunately, his method didn’t go over so well and the restaurateur turned him down. He vowed to keep trying, though, and we’d expect nothing less.

Jax Shows Beau Where the ‘Stassi’ Tattoo Once Was

While the crew was in Las Vegas celebrating Katie and Tom’s legalized union, Stassi’s ex Jax and her new man, Beau, came together for a pivotal moment in history: the unveiling of the “Stassi” tattoo. The bartender got the ink during season 2 as a way to try to win the blonde beauty back … which obviously didn’t work so well. Though the cursive script was covered by another piece of art, Beau couldn’t help but chuckle (to Jax’s face) at the circumstances surrounding the piece.

The casting director also stayed tight-lipped when Jax asked if he was working on a proposal to Stassi, citing Jax’s well-known inability to keep a secret. LOL!

Dayna and Charli Fight Over Weight and Pasta

If you’ve been watching this season, you probably have an opinion on all the newbies … but this feud might change your opinion of Charli Burnett, a new SURver whose claim to fame is never having tried pasta. Yeah, you read that right. She and fellow new cast member Dayna got into a screaming match over body image, weight and how pasta affects both of those things while folding napkins during a shift. The war of words ended with Charli ditching her shift while Dayna continued to work with her head held high.
