Not only is Peter Weber charming, sweet and good-looking, but he’s also really smart! Before the 28-year-old pilot starred on The Bachelorette and then became the leading man on The Bachelor, he was just a regular guy who attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas. However, Peter only attended college for a year before he decided to pursue his dreams of becoming a pilot.

Peter was only 12 years old when he used an extensive simulator that his dad used during training while working for United Airlines, and from there, he got his first private pilot job at 20 years old. The handsome hunk worked for Compass Airlines for three years before he started working with Delta as a captain in 2018. “I’m so ready for this adventure! I’ve wanted to become a major airline pilot my entire life, and today I’m so excited to announce I’ve accepted an offer to fly for Delta Air Lines. I can’t express my gratitude enough to everyone who’s helped me achieve my dream; thank you a million times. I feel like a little kid right now, and I’ll never forget this feeling. #DeltaAirLines #KeepClimbing,” he wrote in March 2018.

Even though the California native filmed the ABC hit show, he is not planning on leaving his job anytime soon. After all, it’s in his blood since his dad, Peter Sr., and his brother, Jack, are both pilots along with his mom, Barbara, who used to be a flight attendant. “That’s my passion,” he told USA Today in early January about his jet-setting lifestyle. “That’s my first love.” These days, Peter is back in the cockpit. “People keep asking me If I’m going to quit my job,” he told Condé Nast Traveler. “I’ve always been obsessed with what I do. It was good to be able to decompress after the show and go back to my happy place.”

Meanwhile, Peter’s brother, Jack, went to UCLA for college and is now following in his father and brother’s footsteps. “So proud of my little brother for graduating from his dream school, UCLA! Can’t wait to fly your private jet one day!” he wrote after his graduation in June 2017.

The new season just premiered, and there’s already some ~turbulence.~ After Peter was introduced to 30 women at the mansion, his ex Hannah Brown showed up to a group date where she confessed to the reality star that he was still on her mind. “My heart was confused,” she said about sending him home. “I don’t know what the f—k I was doing. I am really f—ked up. I question a lot.”

During the episode, Peter not only asked the Alabama native to join the other girls in the house, but he also admitted his feelings for her were still going strong. “I look at her, and I don’t want to stop looking at her, and I want to just kiss her and just have all of this work out,” he confessed. “And it didn’t, and I know it didn’t and I just – I feel like such a jerk because I have such an awesome group of girls here expecting to meet someone who was truly ready to have this work for them as well. I don’t know.”
