Where is Kelsea Ballerini from?
The 24-year-old was born in Mascot, Tennessee, and grew up in Knoxville in a "little house with a big huge piece of land with Southern roots," she explained in a video on her YouTube channel. However, three years after writing her first song at 12 years old, she moved to Nashville.

Kelsea attended Central High School in Knoxville, and she actually returned in October 2017 to perform at her old alma mater! “How cool to be able to come home to Knoxville and celebrate this next big moment in my life with you! Central High is such a special place for me. I was in the glee club and got to perform in musicals on the same stage where I sang a song I wrote for the very first time," she explained. Kelsea also did two years of college at Lipscomb University before leaving to pursue music.
