Did she find her forever love? It’s been a dramatic season for The Bachelorette star Hannah Brown, to say the least, but the real question is — does she have a ring on her finger? Caution: Spoilers for Hannah’s season are below. Do not keep reading if you don’t want to know what happens.

The 24-year-old had insane chemistry with her top four men — Jed Wyatt, Tyler C., Luke P., and Peter — during the Monday, July 8, episode since all the guys couldn’t stop gushing about the Alabama native. However, only one man could get Hannah’s final rose, and it went to Jed.

At the time, the 25-year-old proposed to his love on TV and she said “yes!” Unfortunately, it wasn’t smooth sailing for the happy couple as the country singer’s ex-girlfriend Haley Stevens claimed she was dating Jed when he went on the show and said they were supposed to end up together.

“We spent the night together the night before he headed to L.A.,” Haley told People of their four-month relationship. “He told me [the show] was just an obstacle, and we’d be stronger on the other side because of it.” From the start, Jed was honest about why he decided to sign up for the reality show. “He said, ‘It’s probably not going to happen, but it’s a huge opportunity. I’m only doing this for my music.’ He only did it for his career. He kept telling me, ‘I don’t want my dad to have to help me pay rent anymore.’”

But it seems like the former beauty queen was not able to fully trust her beau. “I can confirm that Hannah broke off her engagement to Jed earlier this week,” Reality Steve tweeted on June 27. “They are still ‘together,’ but the engagement is off. This isn’t a ‘don’t ever talk to me again’ from what I’m being told, but it’s also not all rainbows and daffodils, either.”

Since the news broke, the Nashville native hasn’t addressed the situation, but on July 8, he was direct with his Instagram followers about the rumors. “Hi, y’all. Several of you have reached out with messages and questions. Please know I’m not able to answer right now, but as soon as I’m able to, I will,” he wrote. “Until then, I ask that you please understand how much the actions being taken towards myself, my family, the men on the show and above all, Hannah, are affecting all of our mental and physical health. It goes beyond what is said online.”

He continued, “Threatening letters and phone calls have been sent to our homes. My parents and sister are being verbally attacked in public. I beg you to remember what seems like a harmless action is damaging to real people. I want to thank all of you who have reached out or reserved judgment until I am able to speak openly, and I can only ask for your patience and kindness until then.”
