The competition is heating up on Dancing With the Stars! The bottom two teams during the first elimination on September 23, were Mary Wilson and Brandon Armstrong and Ray Lewis and Cheryl Burke. Who was the first duo sent home? Viewers ended up saying goodbye to the Supremes songstress while the former athlete lived to cha cha another day.

One huge difference this season is that the voting has been completely reinvented since the competition show received backlash after Sharna Burgess and Bobby Bones took home the mirror ball trophy based on popular votes. Now, fan votes determine the bottom two contestants and the judges decide who stays and who goes. Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba cast their decision and, if it’s split, Len Goodman will make the deciding choice.

Luckily for Ray, he narrowly missed the bottom of the leaderboard after his most recent performance. The teams with the lowest scores after two dances are Sean Spicer and Lindsay Arnold with 28 points and Lamar Odom and Peta Murgatroyd with 23. Former Bachelorette star Hannah Brown sits on top at 44 points with her partner Alan Bersten. Judge Len even called their Viennese Waltz to Taylor Swift‘s “Lover” the “best dance of the night.” Not too far behind is James Van Der Beek and Emma Slater with 41 points.

Part of what makes Hannah and Alan such strong competitors is that they have some serious chemistry between them. Don’t get it twisted, the reality babe confessed that romance is the last thing on her mind right now. “I have not thought about that at all,” she confessed exclusively to Life & Style about the possibility of hitting it off romantically with her partner. “I’m truly just focused on continuing to love myself and see the places where I still need to work on that — and I think this is the way where I can do that.”

She previously confirmed that dating isn’t her focus at the moment and she knows love will happen when it’s supposed to. During an Instagram Q&A a fan asked if she wants to “get back into dating.” The Alabama beauty simply responded, “Not my top priority, but you never know when the right guy will come along. I’m focused on myself right now! I don’t need a man, but it’s a desire of my heart to live life with someone by my side. One day.”

Good luck to all the competitors this season!
