On March 24, 2025, popular TikTok creator Harry Daniels shared a video of his encounter with Benny. Harry gained popularity by finding musicians in public and singing them their songs.
In Harry’s video with Benny, the content creator walked up to the Dave actor, who was sitting in an outdoor seating area of a restaurant with Theresa. Benny subtly laughed at Harry, who serenaded him with Selena’s hit song “Same Old Love,” which Benny produced.
“Can I sing at the wedding?” Harry asked Benny, who replied, “Are you following me at this point?”
Despite the humor in the video, fans weren’t vibing with the fact that Benny was out with Theresa without Selena.
“The drama after this is posted …” one person wrote in the comments section of the post.
A second person commented, “If Benny Blanco is cheating no one’s safe.”
Other fans pointed out that Selena didn’t follow Theresa, making them question why Benny would be with her if she had bad blood with the former Disney star.
Theresa follows Benny and Selena on Instagram, and Benny follows Selena and Theresa.
Selena Gomez Seemingly Responds to the Cheating Rumors
After the cheating speculation started slowly gaining traction for almost two months, Selena seemingly shut down the accusations by posting a simple throwback photo dump on Instagram.
“Lil blast from the past because basically I’m lying horizontal rn and reminiscing bout some memories,” the “Calm Down” singer captioned the May 8, 2025, Instagram post.
Selena shared a handful of photos that spanned over decades, and she dedicated the second slide to a girl boss posed picture with Theresa.
In the photo, Selena sat on a wooden bench with one knee bent, where she rested her arm. Theresa stood next to Selena and placed her forearm on the A-lister’s shoulder.
Benny commented on the post, but his excitement was for another girl: Selena’s younger sister Gracie Elliot Teefey.
“4th pic,” Benny wrote in the comments section, along with three heart eye emojis.
In the photo, a tiny and very excited Gracie donned a fancy purple dress that featured a shimmery top and tulle skirt – and completed the getup with purple socks and pink flat shoes. The little girl felt the rain on her skin and got her outfit soaked from the weather.
Neither Selena, Benny nor Theresa has publicly addressed the cheating rumors.

Despite negative chatter online, the couple seems to be going strong. In fact, a source exclusively told Life & Style in April 2025 that the Spring Breakers alum has “zero doubt in her mind that they’ll last.”
Later that month, a second insider gushed that the first thing on Selena and Benny’s “list is to get married.”
“A baby will be the next priority because they’re both eager to start a family,” the second source gushed.
