Zayn Malik Passionately Fires Back at Claims He Shaded Gigi Hadid: ‘She Is the Most Amazing Woman’
Don’t get it twisted! Fans started speculating that Zayn Malik was shading Gigi Hadid when he took to Twitter with a cryptic message on April 3 which read, “you are not the person you said you were.” After rumors started swirling, the former One Direction star made sure to set the record straight and immediately slammed claims that he was dissing Gigi. In fact, he sang her praises.
The drama started shortly after Zayn, 26, posted a few fiery messages. “How about you go all f–k with your irrelevant bulls–t,” he began. “This is not a place for feelings. And you are not the person you said you were,” the singer followed up. Fans on Twitter tried to piece the clues together and came to the conclusion that he was dissing his former flame Gigi, 23. The rumors were fueled because Gigi was recently spotted hanging out with another guy, Samuel Krost.
Zayn fired back at claims he was shading the model, writing on April 4, “My tweet was not about @GiGiHadid so leave her the f–k alone she is the most amazing woman I’ve ever known.” The singer continued, “And I do not know what I’m saying,” before concluding, “So if you have something to say @ me and I’ll put you f–k straight. If you know nothing shut your f–king mouth.”
Meanwhile, Gigi also recently took to Twitter to clear the air about her relationship with Samuel, letting the world know that it’s strictly platonic. The Victoria’s Secret angel explained how there’s going to be a lot of unnecessary confusion if people continue to speculate that she’s got a new beau every time she’s “seen with a friend of the male gender.”
On-again, off-again couple Zayn and Gigi “have been spending apart since early November,” a source told E! News in March. Zayn later proved that he still thought nothing but the best about the blonde beauty when he posted a tweet that read, “@GiGiHadid love you.” Even though they have gone through tough times together, it looks like they have nothing but respect for each other.
