Now Courtney talks exclusively to Life & Style about her intimate date with Arie and how it helped to take her mind off the heartache of breaking up with her fiancé, The Bachelor’s Ben Flajnik.NEWS: Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson split
“It was a nice escape — a distraction,” Courtney tells Life & Style in her first interview since the news of the date broke. “I was heartbroken and just wanted to go out and have fun. That was it. It was nothing more than a night out.”
It hasn't been an easy couple of weeks for the 29-year-old beauty, who earlier this month called off her engagement.
“Right now I'm focusing on healing my heart,” she recently told Life & Style. “I’m a hopeless romantic and still believe I will find my soul mate. I need a guy who is ready for that chapter.”EXCLUSIVE: Courtney Robertson talks break up with Ben Flajnik
Though Courtney had a good time with Arie, who was the runner-up on Emily Maynard's season of The Bachelorette, she’s not planning to see him again, a source tells Life & Style.
“It was just a quick date with someone she’d met before at the right time,” the source tells Life & Style. “She realized afterward it was too soon to date.”
