The TLC alum shared the tactics that have worked for her so far and gave a word of encouragement for those trying to find a balance. When one follower asked how her diet quest was going, Nicole said that she’s still working on it. “Hopefully I’ll find the right balance for me and keep it consistent. It’s a challenge I won’t lose,” she wrote.

Another talked about counting calories in order to reach a fitness goal. “I also think that is a great way to go,” Nicole responded. “Unfortunately I have a hard time with discipline and the way my mind thinks of food.”

“I’m trying to change that, but it is difficult,” the reality star wrote. “I’ll never give up on trying to be healthier and comfortable in my own skin.”

Nicole also revealed that she has considered gastric bypass surgery. “Honestly I have thought about it once or twice, but I am worried that I don’t have a good enough control over my mind with food choices that I would just hurt myself or mess up what the surgery did for me,” the 90DF alum explained.

The Florida-native also revealed her thoughts on DietBet, an app-based weight loss program where participants bet a certain amount of money in order to motivate them to reach that goal by a specific date.
