Time to celebrate! Alan Bersten revealed his plans with Bachelor Nation babe Hannah Brown after winning season 28 of Dancing With the Stars. The dance pro is ready to kick up his feet (pun intended) and soak in the big victory. He dished that they even have a trip to the Big Apple planned.

“We are going to New York! We are going to celebrate in New York and take some time and enjoy this,” Alan, 25, dished to Life & Style and other reporters during the November 25 finale episode. “It has been 11 weeks of nonstop work and fun and I am just … I can’t even put into words the feeling!”

The dancing duo had an intense season — and the competition was stiff. They were up against Ally Brooke and Sasha FarberKel Mitchell and Witney Carson and Lauren Alaina and Gleb Savchenko during the finale, where each couple performed two routines.

Hannah, 25, and Alan revisited their Viennese Waltz to Taylor Swift‘s hit song “Lover” and received glowing reviews (and a 28 out of 30) from the judges. “So much more confident, engaging, radiant. You flowed so much better,” Bruno Tonioli noted about their routine compared to when they first performed it during week 2. However, it was their freestyle dance that really garnered the most praise.

Their sassy and sweet dance to “Girl On Fire” by Alicia Keys and “Hollaback Girl” by Gwen Stefani won the couple their first perfect score of the season. The routine was filled with flips, tricks and moves that showed off Hannah’s big personality. “It was great … It was superb,” Bruno gushed.

It’s no secret that Hannah and Alan have electric chemistry on and off the dance floor. The Bachelorette star divulged exclusively to Life & Style the secret to their strong bond. “I think it’s because we’re honest with each other,” she explained at the DWTS Top 6 Finalist Party at Dominique Ansel on November 4. “If we don’t like something that one of us says, we just squash it right away. We just move forward. We have grown. I’ll be like, ‘I don’t like when you say that.’ He’s like, ‘OK, you gotta stop doing that.’ I’m like, all right.”

Their hard work paid off. Next stop … NYC!
