She’s considering 2019 a success — and we don’t blame her. Comedian Amy Schumer shared her Instagram “Top 9” on her feed on December 22, and honestly, it’s a pretty great representation of the excellent year the 38-year-old had. Between giving birth to her son, Gene, and her pregnancy-focused stand-up special, it’s been quite the ride for the funny gal.

“It was a very good year,” she simply captioned the series of nine images of herself, husband Chris Fischer and their son, as well as friends and family. Plus, a rare photo of Gene’s birth was also included. There was even a shot from her special, Amy Schumer: Growing, and a snap of her bare behind. All in all, it looked like a funny and fun year for the blonde beauty and her sweet little family.

It seems as though fans and followers thought the same thing because they flocked to the comments section to share well wishes with the Inside: Amy Schumer star. “Hope 2020 is even better!” one fan wrote, adding a heart emoji, while another one gushed, “Real life! You’re Amazing! Beautiful family!” Another follower highlighted Amy’s sense of humor with the bottom right corner photo. “That last shot in the bathroom is the best! You’re amazing! Happy holidays,” they wrote, adding a heart emoji.

Amy’s celeb friends also stopped by the post to share some love with the proud mama at the end of 2019. “Geeeeeeene [sic],” close pal and comedian Bridget Everett commented on the post, adding two baby bottle emojis. “So happpppy [sic] for you, lady,” legendary funny gal Kathy Griffin wrote, adding a heart emoji.

The Trainwreck star announced her pregnancy back in October 2018 — and believe it or not, her sense of humor did not wane once, despite dealing with severe complications throughout the gestation period. The first-time mama was diagnosed with hyperemesis, a condition resulting in intense and unbearable nausea.

Throughout the nine month period, she was candidly hilarious regarding every aspect of her pregnancy, including the stuff moms don’t always talk about. She allowed herself to be seen at the most unflattering times and a lot of women found solidarity with her and each other through her posts.

Definitely seems like a banner year, don’t you think? Congrats, Amy!
