Since getting engaged on The Bachelorette in 2010, former leading lady Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum got married and welcomed two children into the world. The pediatric dentist will be appearing on the May 6 reunion special and is still grateful to the franchise for helping her build a life she loves.

“One of the best things I’ve ever done was being a part of this family,” the 35-year-old captioned a photo from Good Morning America with fellow Bachelor Nation babes Rachel Lindsay, Emily Maynard, DeAnna Stagliano (née Pappas) and Ali Fedotowsky. She continued, “It gave me my husband, my babies and the courage to be who I’ve always believed I could be.”

Besides a stint on Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars in 2017, life after reality television has been pretty normal for the gorgeous pair. Their kids — Fordham Rhys, 4, and Essex (Essie) Reese, 2, — keep them very busy. Although they look like a picture-perfect family, the starlet revealed that parenting is not for the weak of heart. “It’s honestly so hard,” she told Us Weekly in 2018. “When I first had my son I was that mom, [I thought] ‘I have to breastfeed, no formula, he has to be stimulated’ … his doctor said to me, ‘Ashley, give in a little, you’re trying to kill yourself and in the end your kids are going to see that stress on you.'”

The brunette beauty confessed that it was exactly what she needed to hear. “It’s the best thing I’ve heard parenting advice-wise,” she admitted. “Just give a little, let yourself be human, let yourself have hard days and good days, let yourself be.”

After being dumped by Brad Womack on The Bachelor, Ashley went on to take the reigns of season 7 of The Bachelorette. She and J.P., 42, ended up getting engaged during the finale in 2010 and tied the knot two years later. Their big day was televised in December 2012. The couple is still completely smitten with each other and renewed their vows in Aruba back in August 2018.

Glad to see these two are still living the dream!
