Someone may have a rose for Demi Lovato! Former Bachelorette contestant Mike Johnson and the 27-year-old pop star have reportedly been trying their hand at dating after a bit of social media flirting for all to see.

“They did go on a date and it’s been going well,” an insider revealed to E! News. “They seem to have a lot in common and are just enjoying getting to know each other.” A source also told People, “They’ve been talking privately for a bit and hanging out.”

Fans and followers definitely saw the pop star gushing over the hunk on the ‘gram back when he was competing on Hannah Brown‘s season of the show. In a tweet from early July, Mike mused about where his “future wife” was, and Demi had a response raring and ready to go.

“I’M RIGHT HERE MIKE I’M RIGHT HERE BOO MY MOM ALREADY LOVES YOU TOO,” she hilariously (and probably truthfully) responded to the post, while fans flocked to the original tweet to share support for a possible Mike and Demi coupling.

But the dynamic duo hasn’t stopped being flirty since Mike was eliminated from the competition series. In fact, on September 6, the 31-year-old commented on a super sexy photo of Demi showing off her ~assets~ on her feed.

“Look at me like that again,” he wrote, along with a smirk emoji. “Love yaself.” Demi sent him back a few kissy face and tongue out emojis, flirting back in her response.

Believe it or not, Mike’s been chatting about the potential relationship with fellow alum Tyler Cameron. He commented on one of the 26-year-old’s posts and hilariously remarked, “So if we do this [double] date, your shirt stays on. No negotiation.” Probably not a bad request, Mike!

Tyler is currently dating supermodel Gigi Hadid — and we definitely think that would be a fun quartet to spend a night on the town with. Guess we’ll have to see if a double date is in the cards!
