Who can keep up with these two? Ronnie Ortiz-Magro from Jersey Shore and his baby mama Jen Harley have the most complicated relationship ever! Dare we say it, even more complicated than his relationship with Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola ever was.

First, the pair had a tumultuous split just two weeks after they welcomed their first child — a baby girl named Ariana — in May. Then, it appeared as if things had calmed down and the couple was on-again.

“They are on speaking terms and things are better than anyone could ever expect a couple days [after their split],” an insider told Us Weekly of their initial breakup. “They have to be in order to co-parent. Ronnie’s main priority is his daughter and that’s all he is concerned about at the moment – that she’s in the best situation.”

Ronnie previously assured us his daughter is his first priority amid all their drama. “I want to apologize to my family, friends and fans. This is a private matter that should have never been made public. I remain focused on my daughter and she is my number one priority,” he posted via his Instagram story on Monday, April 30.

His statement came after Jen took to Instagram Live on Monday, April 30, to share shocking video footage of Ronnie getting extremely aggressive with her during a confrontation — and judging from the clip, things got physical between the two. “How f–king dare you? Now I’m gonna delete that photo,” Ron could be heard saying in the clip obtained by TMZ. The camera then started to shake and it seemed like Ron struggled with the woman holding the phone, while another woman could be heard yelling his name and asking him to “stop” in the background. It’s unclear if Jen was the one holding the phone at the time of the alleged altercation, but the Live video was posted via her private Instagram account.

That Insta was wiped clean just hours later, when Jen removed all of her photos, including the most recent one that made it clear she’s done with Ronnie. “I am done with all this drama, I am a grown woman with a beautiful little girl and a little boy,” she wrote in the caption of the selfie. “I don’t need a cheating abusive man in my life who’s only tearing me apart not building me up. From now on it’s just me and my kids.”

Just hours before their fight broke out, sources confirmed to E! News that the couple did split up for good. “They are broken up,” a source said. “They’re done.” On Monday, May 1, Jen broke her silence on their split. “My heart hurts,” she wrote in an Instagram story alongside a sad face emoji.

All of this drama between little Ariana’s parents started on Sunday, April 29, when Ron went on a social media rant, publicly accusing his baby mama of being unfaithful. Ironically, this happened just days after footage of Ron cheating on Jen aired on national TV during an episode of Jersey Shore Family Vacation.

In his first post, Ronnie shared a screenshot of a message he wrote via the Apple Notes app that read, “Note to self, can’t turn a natural born HOE into a HOUSE WIFE, if u [sic] find them in the gutter than [sic] leave them in the gutter, not all people can be saved when they are so far gone. All you can say you did [ur] best and keep it moving! #FACTS #YEAHBUDDY.”

Ronnie followed up with a text post and a poll for his followers. “If your significant other keeps sex videos of their ex, shouldn’t they show enough respect to delete them, esp [sic] after being in a new relationship for over a year? #GiveMeYourThoughts,” the new dad wrote, and asked his followers to answer “yes” or “no.”

He continued to share the responses he got in his DMs, and even his Jersey Shore Family Vacation co-star Deena Cortese agreed with him. “Wow that’s insane. What girl even keeps that LOL,” Deena wrote in the screenshot of their message conversation.

Ron’s baby mama had set her Instagram account to private, but in a screenshot of her Instagram story obtained by Us Weekly, Jen defended herself against the allegations and even accused Ron of using drugs at the same time. “Can’t turn a coke head into a father! Yeahhh [sic] Buddy!” she wrote.

But Ron quickly deleted the posts from his story, and shortly after he issued a public apology to the mother of his daughter. “I want to apologize for earlier to my fans and especially [Jen],” he wrote on social media. “I acted on my gut and not rationally. I should’ve never acted in such a manor [sic]. My deepest apologies.”

To be fair, Ron had a lot more than just the social media explosion to apologize for. “[Jen] saw how bad the cheating was while watching the show Thursday night. Ronnie told her something was going down on the show, but not specifics or how bad it was — and it was bad,” an insider told Us Weekly. “She kicked him out of his house two weeks ago. They’ve been so rocky for so long — even before he went to film the show.”

“Ronnie is melting down. People are trying to talk him off a ledge but he’s going crazy,” the source continued. “He was going to apologize to her but then started posting all those crazy stories this weekend — no one knows what is going on.”

As of today, it doesn’t seem like things have gotten any better. Beginning on Memorial Day, Ron and Jen looked like they were living the single life. Jen posted a bunch of scantily clad partying pics, while Ron shared a few snapshots of himself with a group of girls. Not exactly the kind of behavior you’d expect from a couple in love, right?

Well, things took an even darker turn on June 7 when the pair reportedly got into a violent altercation in Las Vegas. “Ronnie and Jen have been fighting over their daughter,” a source told Us Weekly. “Ronnie has been filming the show in Vegas the last couple of days and Jen wouldn’t tell him where their daughter is. She showed up to the hotel where they were filming.” The source claimed that “Jen lunged, spit, and shoved Ronnie,” and the hotel security had to call the Las Vegas police department.

While neither have commented on the alleged dispute, Jen has addressed Ronnie’s accusations that she cheated on him while they were together. “I’m sure he’s referring to when we were dating for about a month or two,” Jen spilled to Us Weekly. “We hadn’t established a real relationship. My ex came back around. I had mixed feelings at the time. We just got out of a four-year relationship.”

Fans are speculating that Ronnie’s latest Instagram posts means the couple is making things work for Ariana. In an adorable snapshot posted on June 20, Ronnie’s daughter is wearing a onesie that reads, “I happened in Vegas, Nevada.”

“This pic looks recent! You guys must be back together,” one user commented. However, given the fact that Jen just compared Ronnie to a straight up serial killer, we don’t think things are OK. “When my ex says he’s changed. Who I trust mote [SIC] than my ex: 1. Serial killers 2. Sharks 3. My loser ex before him 4. Poisonous snakes 5. Pinocchio,” Jen shared to her Instagram Story on June 21. Though the story has been deleted, we get the picture!
