Move along, boys! All eyes were glued to Kanye West‘s Twitter page yesterday as he accused Drake of threatening him, shared text messages, and called out Travis Scott. It was…interesting. In the midst of all this was Ariana Grande who had enough of the feud. She tried to put things into perspective while promoting her friend and fellow artist, Miley Cyrus.

“Guys, I know there are grown men arguing online rn but Miley and I dropping our beautiful, new songs tonight,” the singer wrote on Twitter. “So if y’all could please jus [SIC] behave for just like a few hours so the girls can shine that’d be so sick thank u.”

Kanye Twitter rant aside, Ari dropped her latest single, “Imagine,” on Dec. 13. The singer previously said on social media that the song was about a “simple, beautiful love that is now (and forever) unattainable.” The moody ballad is definitely an instant hit among fans.

As far as the meaning behind the song, Ari explained that her entire new album “mourns failed yet important, beautiful relationships” but also “celebrates growth” and “exploring new independence.” For a simple comparison, she explained that “thank u, next” is about acceptance while “Imagine” is about denial.

Miley’s perfectly seasonal bop, “War Is Over (Happy Xmas),” is a remake of John Lennon‘s original song. Similar to her other most recent single, “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart,” the singer worked on this with Mark Ronson. As a tribute to the iconic Beatles singer, John’s son, Sean Ono Lennon, is also featured on the track.

As far as the Kanye and Drake drama, Miley is also over it. She retweeted Ariana and added, “Didn’t they hear the news?! War IS over! Thank you, next!” The singer added a slew of rainbow hearts and, honestly, this is going to be our 2019 mood.

Who run the world? Girls (obvi).
