Ariel Winter Stuns in Sexy Leather Mini Dress at Pre-Emmys Party

Hello, hottie! Modern Family star Ariel Winter rocked the red carpet in a leather mini dress while attending the Entertainment Weekly and L’Oreal Paris 2019 Pre-Emmy’s Party at Sunset Tower in Los Angeles on September 20. This wouldn’t be the first time the 21-year-old has looked top-notch for an event but it definitely reminds us that her style is on point.

Believe it or not, the confidence the sitcom actress exudes comes from a place of struggle, specifically with folks on the internet trying to tear her down. “I try to not respond,” she admitted to Us Weekly about clapping back on social media. “I wanted to respond positively to people for a long time because I do feel that if you are sitting and sending somebody that message, there must be something you’re not getting in your life.”

A lot of the online backlash she’s received has been body-shaming, especially after the brunette beauty lost a significant amount of weight back in January. But she’s navigated the tough world of the public eye as best as she can.

“I have had those moments where I’ve responded and I have regretted to responding to some of them, not all, but some I have regretted,” she continued. “I’ve been like, ‘This is stupid. It’s unnecessary.’ I do know … I think as everybody knows, when somebody is posting that comment they want an argument, you know, they want you to respond.”

Luckily, she has a great support system in her loving BF Levi Meaden. “He’s a wonderful person. He’s always there for me … all the time,” she gushed to Us Weekly back in July. “He’s always trying to make me feel good about myself, but also just to be there for me as a person, you know?”

“Just as me, as Ariel — and that’s hard to find, is people who just take you for you. The good, the bad, the ugly — everything. For me, that is great to have the support [from someone] on everything in life, not just specific things,” she explained. “Just for someone to be there for you through all things, not just you know, pick and choose.”
