Ashley Graham Goes on a Tranquil 'Babymoon' in Big Sur: Photos

With Ashley Graham and her husband, Justin Ervin, expecting their first child, the longtime couple decided to take a little trip to Big Sur, California. “I took a week to disconnect and go off the grid for my babymoon,” the supermodel, 31, captioned an Instagram post on Tuesday, October 22. “I didn’t realize how much I needed a break from technology until we completely lost service!!”

Considering Ashley has been on the move for most of her pregnancy — ahem, she walked in New York Fashion Week — we’re happy to see that she’s taking some downtime for herself. Here’s hoping in addition to the massages and gorgeous views, Ashley indulged in some of her cravings, too!

Speaking of which, a source revealed to Life & Style in September, that aside from a few “weird cravings,” Ashley’s journey toward motherhood has been amazing. “She’s not only calm and actually glowing, but she feels sexy. She’s doing yoga, posing on red carpets in gorgeous clothes [and] she’s feeling herself like never before,” the insider gushed. “Ashley’s showed her fans and the world that being pregnant can be glorious.”

Glorious, indeed! So much so, that the body positive advocate has mixed emotions about giving birth. “Ashley is feeling very bittersweet about her pregnancy. She can’t wait to welcome her baby, but she never imagined how much she would embrace her pregnancy. That’s why she says she’s going to miss her baby bump,” the source continued.

“She’s embraced the self-care — the naps, the massages, just being spoiled by her husband. Ashley heard all these horror stories from girlfriends, and from Googling stories, but her personal experience has been beautiful. It’s been a very zen pregnancy for her,” the insider concluded.

As for more on the “babymoon”? Well, Ashley and Justin stayed at a five-star resort smack dab on top of the Pacific coastline. Pretty idyllic, huh? Their room included ocean and forest view, as well as a wood-burning fireplace, king size bed, dining area, soaking tub and an outside deck with a hammock and hot tub.
