The Couple Met a Decade Ago
The pair met in 2009 while at her church, which Justin was volunteering at. After they met, they grew inseparable. “All I wanted to do was keep talking to Justin,” she wrote in her book A New Model: What Confidence, Beauty and Power Really Look Like. “The consistency and openness [were] so new, it felt weird. My romance with Justin was innocent and sweet. We went rollerblading and biking; we did karaoke, went to the movies, took an improv class together.” Prior to her relationship with Justin, the curvy model did not have the best experience with dating, but that all changed once she met her then-husband to be, whom she married in 2010.
They Waited to Have Sex
The two shared a strong foundation from the beginning, which led them to set boundaries. “Because we weren’t sleeping together — for Justin, abstinence was a firm commitment to his faith — we never tempted ourselves by going over to each other’s apartments late at night,” she detailed in her memoir.
He’s Her No. 1 Fan
The brunette beauty is obviously a stunner, and while this might have made a man in Justin’s position jealous, it’s the opposite. He makes sure to always show off his wife and often takes sexy photos of her for Instagram. He even made a cameo during one of her Maxim photo shoots when he held Ashley’s breasts. “Yes, those are my husband’s hands supporting me. He supports me in more ways than one,” she told Entertainment Tonight in 2016. “What’s really funny is it was my husband’s idea to do that photo. We call it the Janet Jackson.”
They Have an Unconventional Marriage
As one of the hottest supermodels, Ash is always working, which means that unfortunately, she is away from her hubby a lot. However, they make sure to see each other often despite the fact that he lives in L.A. and she lives in NYC. “We have a rule,” she told the outlet at the time. “We don’t go longer than two weeks without seeing each other. It’s absolutely fabulous. I love it. We just meet in L.A. or New York. We meet in Paris, Miami. It’s pretty sexy.”
