‘Tis the season! Bachelor Nation favorites Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon got candid about what they are doing for their first Christmas as a married couple. “We’re going to his place. His parents’ house,” the 31-year-old brunette told Life & Style exclusively at KIIS FM’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball presented by Capital One on Friday, December 6, at The Forum in California. “But I don’t get my parents on Christmas!”

However, the 31-year-old hunk made it clear that Ashley’s family is “invited” to the festivities, but unfortunately, they won’t be able to attend. “My dad has to work the day before and after,” the podcast host confessed. “But we’ll be in Rhode Island, and then we’re not sure what we’re doing for New Year’s,” Jared revealed. “We have a couple of things up in the air.”

So, since the new decade is coming up, does the couple have anything they want to accomplish in 2020? “My resolution is just to really go for it,” the Bachelorette alum said. “It’s hard to articulate, but to go for the things I want in life most. I think a lot of times, right, in any profession, you kind of sacrifice your own goals. So, you can further your career. Yeah, my resolution for 2020 is to do that, of course. Try to maybe also go after the things that I really like.”

The Bachelor alum dished how her goals are aligned with her husband’s and added, “Pursuing like what are like internal passions are as well. We want to concentrate more on the side hustle.”

Jared also elaborated on his future endeavors. “Our background of reality TV and everything that we do, we’re kind of like cornered, but we’re put into a box,” he explained. “And that’s fine because everybody is, and so I think my goal is try to break out of that box and be successful at it. So, that’s a very difficult thing to do. Like, if I post something about the Patriots, right, nobody really cares because they want to see pictures of us. So, like, that’s an example — you know, try to post something that people like or like, you know, do something that people like.”

He added, “I want to do the things that I want to do and be successful at it, but I also have to sacrifice some of that by you know, making money.”
