‘Bachelorette’ Star Chris Strandburg Says He ‘Can’t Imagine’ Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon ‘Apart’
A match made in Bachelor heaven! Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon tied the knot on Sunday, August 11, and former Bachelorette star Chris Strandburg is so happy the couple finally decided to make their relationship official after all these years.
“So many tears, so much of a journey because you normally don’t see it like a season and then Paradise, but then it was like two seasons of Paradise, and then it happened post-show, after she went on Winter Games,” the 33-year-old — who partnered with Waterpik Sonic-Fusion, the world’s first flossing toothbrush — told Life & Style exclusively. “Now seeing them together, I can’t imagine them apart because they have both become really confident people who I think work really well together. They are both really kind people, and I mean, they are just bosses now when you hang out with them. They have this energy.”
The dentist attended the nuptials in Rhode Island where other Bachelor Nation members were in attendance including Nick Viall, Ben Higgins, Dean Unglert, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Amanda Stanton and Becca Tilley. Of course, Chris and his shiny teeth looked amazing at the wedding — thanks to his toothbrush since the brand is clinically proven to be up to two times as effective as traditional brush and flossing — and he shared a selfie with Nick and Dean before the festivities began. The reality stars all captioned parts of the night, and it looked like everyone had the time of their lives.
Chris couldn’t help but gush about the duo’s love story and revealed why they click so well. “They both have the same heart. They are genuinely love people, genuinely kind and open together,” he said. “Jared is very even keel. He is hard to rattle and stuff like that. As we have seen with Ashley, she likes to cry a lot, and she is emotional, but I think that adds such a fun dynamic because her high highs are super high. I mean, you have seen the stuff she has accomplished with podcasting and all the media that she does. It’s amazing. I don’t know that Jared — I think he said he wouldn’t pursue that stuff on his own, and he gets to have that excitement and be in the spotlight because I think he is a guy that deserves to be in the spotlight.”
Ashley and Jared met on season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise. However, Jared didn’t reciprocate Ashley’s feelings for him and instead remained friends. They continued to date off and on until May 2018 when they confirmed they were officially back together. They got engaged in June 2018, and now Ashley has finally found the Aladdin to her Jasmine! Congrats, you two.
